Each order is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas studio.

Exchange Policy

We hope you love your MATTE purchase! If an eligible item isn’t quite right, please contact us within 7 days of deliveryto request an exchange.

MATTE offers exchanges only. We do not offer refunds or store credit for change-of-mind purchases.

Eligibility

Items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, free of odors and stains, with all original tags attached and in their original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is required.

All items are inspected before an exchange is approved.

How to Request an Exchange

Email team.matte.shop@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and the item you would like to exchange.

Please wait for approval and shipping instructions before sending your item back. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Shipping Your Item Back

Customers are responsible for purchasing their own return shipping label, paying the shipping cost, and sending the item back to MATTE using a tracked shipping service. MATTE does not provide return shipping labels. Please keep your tracking information until we confirm receipt.

Once we receive and approve your item, MATTE will cover the shipping cost to send your first exchange item to you. MATTE covers one complimentary exchange shipment per order. For any additional exchange from the same order, the customer is responsible for shipping costs in both directions.

Final Sale and Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • All Sale, promotional, and clearance items.

  • Earrings, for hygiene reasons.

  • Personalized or engraved items.

  • Special orders made specifically for a customer.

  • Gift cards.

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact team.matte.shop@gmail.com immediately with your order number and photos so we can resolve the issue. This applies to final sale items as well.
